Reflecting on 2021 and New Service Developments

As another turbulent year draws to a close, we’ve been reflecting on 2021 and looking at how we’re all trying to move forwards from the events of the preceding year. Although it’s very clear that many industries are still feeling the effects of Covid and Brexit – and doubtless will do for some time to come – we’re very busy here at GenRev. This is due to the ongoing custom and support of all our loyal clients – thank you for your business.

More environmentally friendly deliveries
We haven’t yet been able to make the leap of investing in electric vehicles for our fleet, although it’s something we’re looking into closely. But for now, we’re minimising our environmental impact by offering In Night distribution services that avoid all the daytime congestion and traffic delays. This means our drivers aren’t wasting fuel unnecessarily, leading to less fuel being used and less pollution. It’s an efficient and practical solution, enabling us to deliver your time-critical parts before your technicians start work.

Combined with our In Boot and multi-drop deliveries, we’ve continued to get your packages to where they need to be, on time – every time.

New developments in 2022
Looking ahead to the coming year, we’ve got a few exciting developments in the pipeline. First of all, we’re looking forward to working with some new customers, who are due to come on board early 2022. And naturally, we’ll be offering them the same outstanding service that we pride ourselves on. Many of our clients have been using our smart delivery solutions for several years now. We continue to strive to meet the needs of every single one of our customers, whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re about to join us.

We’ll be launching our new Pick & Pack Parts Storage service. It’s been designed to serve as a natural progression from our Just In Time delivery service. We’re extremely excited about this idea. We’ll be offering storage for small consumable parts, allowing them to be replenished weekly, or whenever suits your business needs best, and then we can still deliver these parts to your engineers. Look out for our blog post next month, where we’ll be telling you more about this brand-new service.

And we’re currently in the process of putting the finishing touches to our Smart Delivery Box service. We’re hoping that this exciting new service will be ready to launch by spring 2022, as we think it’s going to be incredibly popular with our clients old and new. The service is designed to meet the changing tide in logistics and the rise in online shopping and parcel delivery. Keep checking back in, and we’ll let you know when it’s ready to go live!

Meanwhile, here at GenRev, we would like to wish all of our customers a Merry Christmas and a prosperous and healthy 2022.
